Amanda attended Centre College and graduated from Eastern Kentucky University with a B.A. in Economics. She then graduated from the University of Kentucky College of Law and began practicing in the real estate law field in 1995. Before moving to Louisville in 2007, Amanda practiced law in Mt. Olivet, Kentucky, where she represented various lenders in real estate transactions, performed title examinations, prepared title opinions, and was the Robertson County Trial Commissioner. Amanda is a member of the Kentucky Bar Association and is licensed to practice in both State and Federal Courts.
Amanda and her husband, Curtis, have three children. In her spare time, Amanda enjoys traveling with her family, coaching field hockey, and watching University of Kentucky basketball. She is a Member of Middletown United Methodist Church and is active in the Church’s Children’s Ministry program.
